| Q: What is a "per seat"
software license? |
| A: A per seat license gives you the right
to install the RV Logic software on a single computer or laptop. RV Logic may
not be used on a terminal server. |
| Q: How many users can access
the software in a per seat license agreement? |
| A. An unlimited number of users will be created, have a unique
username and password, be able to login and access the software. For example, if
you have 5 sales people that you want to have access to RV Logic, they will be
able to login to the software on any machine where RV Logic is installed. |
| Q: Can I access RV Logic from anywhere when I travel? |
| A: As long as you have the client access software installed on
a portable computer (laptop) and you have an internet connection, you will be
able to login and use RV Logic. |
| Q: Can RV Logic handle multiple locations? |
| A: Yes. RV Logic is the simplest solution for dealers that have
single or multiple locations. RV Logic is designed to work without any
additional software like Terminal Services, Citrix, PC Anywhere, etc. By
removing these additional layers of software, RV Logic is more reliable, more
secure, and less expensive, as no additional software licensing is required for
dealers with multiple locations. |
| Q: Where is my data stored? |
| A: RV Logic database servers are located at a world-class
Jacksonville data center is staffed by skilled engineers and support personnel
to ensure the security, integrity and availability of its customers� technology
infrastructure 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |
| Q: Is my data secure? |
| A: Your data is completely secure and can only be accessed via
web services and the smart client application that is installed on your laptop
or desktop computer. In addition, RV Logic requires additional login credentials
to get access to your data. |
| Q: Is my data backed up? What
about disaster recovery |
| A: In addition to nightly data backups, backup tapes are taken
offsite to a separate location on a weekly basis so that even if a disaster did
occur, we would be able to reconstruct your database. |
| Q: Are software updates free? |
| A: Software updates are free with your paid subscription and
are sent to you and installed automatically when you first login to RV Logic.
This ensures that you always have the most current features available in the
system. You will not need an IT person to install or configure software once you
have installed RV Logic the first time. |
